Island Life, Computer Room & Kitchen Duties...

Sunny today and 49 F/9.4 C on the island! Weather predictions for next week: cold and colder!
We just knew this good weather was not going to last. The meteorologist did not mention the word 'rain' though...
As they say: 'As long as there is hope, there is life!'

So now, for island life...

First in the computer room...

 RAF flyboy enjoying down time...
  Today's plane choice....
Glasgow control tower in contact for landing...

Whilst in the Kitchen...
Dinner is being prepared...

Bye for now! Going outside to play Frisbee with the Corgi...

Note: Devonshire cream is irresistible for flyboy who gladly takes his dessert in the 'cockpit' so I made sure there is plenty!

  1. It's raining here we could send it over to you, maybe clear up this afternoon.

  2. Ah! Ah, Merle! Being so near the rainforest I assure you no rain for a few days is always welcome! Mildew is a constant challenge here, worse than around the equator!
And (like everywhere else in the world), the weather man's crystal ball must be murky...now he says rain in the morning! Figures!

  4. Your final phoot reminds me of my late mother. She would make the most wonderful cream puffs for us. What a treat especially for Easter after the long and trying season of Lent! I am glad I am here!

  5. The first thing hubby does when arriving back home (UK) is to find the closest pastry shoppe in his hometown and one of those large cream horns filled with Devonshire or clotted cream! Not exactly available here but this homemade recipe keeps him happy!
