Gifts Of The Wise Men, Book Review

 Publisher's review:

Christmas, Frosty nights and caroling. Family gatherings and special dinners. Warm, spiced apple cider. Cozy evenings in front of the fire. And best of all, the celebration of Jesus' birth.
Each story in this menagerie of Christmas memories, like the gifts of the Wise Men, brings a sense of awe and heartwarming joy to the celebration of Christ's birth.

And now for my review:

Each year I admit I am impatiently waiting for a new Christmas song or story that will lift up my heart and lets me dream...Albeit the Holiday season is months away, the front cover of Gifts of the Wise Men, a treasury of Christmas stories just called to me!
'Tis true, I love the season, I love the rich traditions observed by Christian followers and most of all, I cherish the warmth feeling of a well told story.
Colleen Reece (also known under the pen name of Connie Lorraine) is a wonderful storyteller and here she weaves once again contemporary and traditional stories with an unshakable faith.

Gifts of the Wise Men is an anthology of warm, heartfelt stories, each of them short enough to be read on a quiet evening to your loved ones and beautifully illustrated.
Here is a chance to share simple thoughts and hopes during this special holiday season and remember that giving is what matters, not just receiving.
So grab a quilt, sit in your favourite chair and gather your loved ones around you and read them this collection of stories. Like me you are bound to find your favourite amongst them, mine being the 'The Everlasting Hero: Memories from a POW'!

Blessings to all,

I give it 4 stars!
